Home. Such a great word. Home. Home is where your heart is. Home is where your rump rests. Home on the range. Home is nothing more than the illusion of being somewhere you put your dirty underwear. Regardless of all that. I am home. Home in good old Smithers British Columbia that is. I don't really think I like calling it home completely, but I don't have much of a choice. I seem to have upgraded to the class of vegabond.... or nomad. I like nomad better actually. With no perminant address. Do you want to send me a piece of phsyical mail... well you can't, as I don't have a set destination. Why is that one may ask. Well that would be because my new 'home' currently floats all over the god damned place. For the past six months, I have been working on the Carnival Spirit, on of the twenty six Carnival Cruise Line Superliners (as they are called), and I couldn't be happier *with a job anyways*. That would also be why I havn't had a journal entry in... oh... a million kerbillion ages. You would be completely blown out of the proverbial water if you knew how extrememly hard it is to go to the bathroom in peace, let alone write up day to day occurances. Thought, with the new position that I obtained on ship (Social Host of Justice), my time is much more my own now (and I have my own room), so keeping the world up to date on my life ((otherwise known as recording it just for my own benefit, when i can't remember what happened the night before)), or a life just like mine, will be much easier. Here's hoping anyways. It is so odd that I stumbled upon this little fixation again. I was going through all my old emails that I have saved for various reasons, and I ran accross an email from a one Daniel, that made me smile so completely, I had to come back and at least look at the old baby. Thank you Daniel. I kinda missed hearing (reading) about peoples days, what they learnt, what they did or didn't do for that matter. It is remarkably amazing how much shit people get into that one can completely relate to right off the get go. No? I love it. Anyways.... this is my first new entry. Long live the Online Journals, and Goodnight to all. Hopefully tomorrow will bring rain. |
